Land Split Pai Thailand

LAND SPLIT, MAE HONG SON

A unique natural attraction created by an earthquake, featuring deep earth fissures, fruit gardens, and complimentary local snacks

Overview

Land Split is one of Pai's most unusual natural attractions, located a short drive south of the town center in Mae Hong Son Province.

The site was formed in 2008 when an earthquake caused a local farmer's land to crack apart, creating dramatic fissures and uneven terrain. Rather than abandoning the property, the family transformed it into a welcoming attraction where visitors can explore the split landscape.

Today, Land Split is well known for its relaxed atmosphere, scenic orchard, and generous hospitality, with complimentary seasonal fruits, roselle juice, peanuts, and other homemade snacks offered in exchange for optional donations.
