Overview

Huai Nam Dang National Park is one of Northern Thailand's most scenic protected areas, spanning parts of Mae Hong Son and Chiang Mai provinces. Located approximately 35 kilometers from Pai along Highway 1095, the park is renowned for its breathtaking mountain scenery and panoramic viewpoints.

Covering more than 1,200 square kilometers, the park protects evergreen forests, pine forests, mountain ridges, rivers, waterfalls, and abundant wildlife. Its most famous attraction is the spectacular sunrise over a "sea of mist," where low-lying clouds fill the valleys beneath the surrounding mountain peaks.

Visitors can also enjoy natural hot springs, hiking trails, camping areas, flower gardens, and cool mountain air, making the park one of the region's top nature destinations throughout the year.
